Our President/CEO
Pamela Tomlinson is President/CEO of Kids Defense Team, started in 2003
Pam Tomlinson has always been an advocate for children and seniors.
Prior to Kids Defense Team she was an office manager for a psychologist.
She lived in Hawaii where she studied photography in college, she was a freelance photographer around the island. She also worked for photo distribution lab.
When she lived in California, she was a nanny for a child in the same building complex where she lived.
She lives in Cecil County Maryland with her husband Brett. When not doing Kids Defense Team work, she and her husband Brett are caring for their parrots. Their kids are on their own with their own careers.

Joyce L. Hawkins (Board President)
Growing up in a small mining town outside of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Joyce knows what it means to “Help Others”. Families in the mining town helped each other, looked after each other’s children, and were there to help pick up the pieces when someone needed a helping hand or consoling. This upbringing has instilled a passion to help others.
Joyce Hawkins has built her career around helping people. From working in the pharmaceutical industry to setting up a business to provide medical supplies to those who need home health care, Joyce is always the first to call when someone needs help. She endeavors to encourage and inform people, helping them locate the needed services or products.
Regina Brown
Regina Brown is the President/CEO of Brown’s Professional Services, a virtual administrative management company. Established in 2007, the company provides virtual administrative assistance to non-profit organizations, consultants, individuals and small business owners.
Regina has over 20 years of experience in various industries including healthcare, hospitality, property management and the federal government.
She is also a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor user, a member of the International Virtual Assistants Association and a frequent contributor to the Virtual Assistant Networking Forum.
In addition to her professional affiliations, she is also a Booster Club member of the Ohio Virtual Academy and a parent captain of the Ohio Coalition of E-school Families. She and her husband have five boys, four of them currently being homeschooled.
Peter Chiweshe
Peter Chiweshe is a real estate investment consultant with a focus on commercial acquisitions. He has consulted for numerous private businesses on issues such as strategy, finance and operational restructuring.
He has extensive corporate finance experience, having worked on Wall Street as an investment banker, with Montgomery Securities (later acquired by Bank of America) and J.P. Morgan. Peter holds degrees from Eastern Michigan University and Johns Hopkins University.
Tom McIntyre
Tom McIntyre is a Project Engineer for the Pharmaceutical, Bio-tech, and Personal Care industries with expertise in liquid process engineering. Tom has extensive project management experience integrating leading technologies from the US and abroad into turn-key process solutions for industry leaders.
Tom earned his engineering degree from the University of Maryland. Since graduating, Tom has filled his free time by helping local charities in his Baltimore community. At present, in addition to donating time and efforts to Kids Defense Team, he is a strong supporter of the fight against Diabetes as a member of the American Diabetes Association.
